The city of Freiburg introduced the Freiburg overnight stay tax on January 1st, 2014. From this point in time we are obliged to collect this tax and pay it to the city of Freiburg.
This bed tax obliges overnight guests who come to Freiburg for private reasons to pay a cultural tax. Business travelers who provide proof of this are exempt from this survey. If you have any questions, please contact the city of Freiburg:
